Tourism Authority of Thailand Launches ‘Welcome Back to Thailand’ Campaign

The Tourism Authority of Thailand has partnered with AIS 5G to launch the ‘Welcome Back to Thailand’ campaign. Running from October 17, 2023, to March 31, 2024, this initiative aims to boost tourism income by offering tourists a special SIM card with internet and travel privileges.

Introducing the ‘Welcome Back to Thailand’ Campaign: Amazing Thailand SIM Card with Travel Privileges

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and AIS 5G have collaborated to attract tourists and boost the country’s tourism sector with the ‘Welcome Back to Thailand’ campaign. Visitors will receive an ‘Amazing Thailand SIM’ card, granting them a one-day trial of 8GB max speed internet and various travel privileges. The campaign runs from October 17, 2023, to March 31, 2024.

Expanding Collaboration and Embracing Digital Transformation

The ‘Welcome Back to Thailand’ campaign aligns with the Thai government’s efforts to increase tourism income, according to Mr. Chattan Kunjara Na Ayudhya, TAT Deputy Governor for International Marketing – Asia and the South Pacific. The campaign also reflects TAT’s commitment to expanding collaboration with stakeholders and embracing digital transformation. With Thailand welcoming 20.3 million foreign visitors in 2023, the campaign aims to enhance the tourist experience by providing convenient communication systems and digital services through the Amazing Thailand SIM card.
