Bangkok, April 20th 2023 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is taking a group of 56 Thai tourism operators on the ‘Amazing Thailand Road Show to China 2023, Phuket & the Andaman+’. This event runs from April 17th through 21st and includes visits to the cities of Chongqing, Beijing, and Nanjing. The TAT aims to emphasize that Thailand is still a top destination for Chinese travellers.

The ‘Amazing Thailand Road Show to China 2023, Phuket & the Andaman+’ had its first stop on April 17th in Chongqing. It then made its way to Beijing on April 19th and is set to visit Nanjing on April 21st. This event follows the ‘Amazing Thailand Amazing New Chapters Roadshow to China 2023’ in February which visited Shanghai, Chengdu, and Guangzhou.

The ‘Amazing Thailand Road Show to China 2023, Phuket & the Andaman+’ is organized in partnership with the Phuket Tourism Business Association. The event comprises 38 hotel and resort operators, six travel agencies, six tourist destinations, three other types of tourism operators, and three strategic partners of the TAT.

In addition to business discussion opportunities, Chinese tourism operators in the three cities will receive an update on quality tourism products and services in Thailand, especially in Phuket and the Andaman region. For the Thai tourism sellers, there will be a market briefing on the China market by the TAT office in each city visited.

The roadshow attracted over 200 Chinese tourism professionals from 101 companies during the first stop in Chongqing on April 17th.
