Bangkok, 6 January, 2019, at 12.00 Hrs. – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) would like to express our deepest thanks to all friends of Thailand who insisted via social media on visiting Thailand and, for those who are already in Thailand, to continue their holiday schedules in several beach resort destinations in the South despite having to endure the past few days of severe weather conditions.

We also would like to reiterate that Thailand recognises the immense importance of tourism, and tourist safety is an ongoing top priority for us.

The Royal Thai Government, and our team at the TAT – alongside authorities and…
