Jorge Martin, MotoGP champion, returns for the Thailand Grand Prix after hand surgery. He’s recovering and aiming to start training soon, excited about Aprilia’s progress in testing.
Reigning MotoGP champion Jorge Martin is returning to action at the Thailand Grand Prix after recovering from surgery on his broken hand. He missed much of the preseason testing due to an injury sustained at the Sepang test, but according to sources, he is on track to participate in the upcoming race.
Martin has been resting at home to allow his fractures time to heal and is expected to train next week to get in shape for the competition. His medical check-up will determine his readiness to return to the bike.
Aprilia has been in constant contact with Martin throughout his recovery. They have been working on improving the bike’s setup and are eager for him to return, especially after his teammate Marco Bezzecchi’s impressive results in testing. The team is optimistic about helping Martin regain confidence quickly as he transitions back to racing.
