Rear Admiral Michael Wosje, commander of Carrier Strike Group ONE, expressed gratitude for Thailand’s hospitality, highlighting that their recent port visit represents the enduring alliance between the two nations. U.S. Ambassador Robert F. Godec noted the visit reinforced mutual commitments to a free and open Indo-Pacific.

During their time in Thailand, approximately 7,500 Sailors engaged in cultural exchanges and community events, enhancing cooperation. Captain Matthew Thomas appreciated the warm welcome from the locals, emphasizing their commitment to strengthening the U.S.-Thai friendship moving forward.
